An Original Artwork From Clara Claus
A Note From Clara:
During the hours spent painting in my studio, I sometimes manage to capture bursts, glimmers, diffractions, and colors. Without a doubt, those that pulse deep within me and never fade, wherever I am, are the lights of my birthplace, of the Vermilion Coast. The pale morning light that peeks out from behind the Pyrenees. The bright yellow sunlight shining at its zenith. The evening light that slowly fades into a pastel orange, then an old rose, a soft lilac, and a sapphire blue. The moonlight that bathes everything in its silvery veil and sparkles on the sea. These are the lights of my first emotions, of my first memories. Wherever I go, they accompany me, sheltered as in a lighthouse that projects its multicolored beam onto the things around me, reminding me of where I come from.
