About Richard

Richard Turner is the Director of George Gallery. Before opening the gallery, he worked as a practising photographer, building a body of work shaped by everyday observations and the environments he moved through. As he continues to revisit this archive, Richard will be releasing a small number of online-exclusive prints drawn from photographs made between 2021 and 2024. These releases also mark the beginning of a return to new photographic work in 2026.
The first piece in this series, Upside Down Bike, was photographed in Brighton, the gallery’s hometown.
